That’s why we thought we’d take a moment to give you, our loyal customers, a highlight reel of 2019 and share our hopes for 2020.
January
The IDA Young Professionals Network Q&A featured our owner, Ryan Lucia, in the February issue of their magazine. During his interview, he shared his passion for the industry and hopes for where Aaron Overhead will go in the future.
February
The second week of February, we participated in the North Atlanta Home Show. Here, we shared our services with the community and hosted daily giveaways. Also that month, we found out that our wonderful community voted us Best of Gwinnett in 2018. We were so proud that our community chose to give us this award for the third year in a row.
March
We attended the 2019 IDA Expo in Indianapolis. This event gave us great tips on how to better serve our community by improving our garage door repair and replacement services. It also allowed us to connect with other garage door experts from all over the country.
April
The IDA presented us with the National Humanitarian Award for our community outreach. It was an incredible honor to be recognize for our place in the community. This encouraged us to continue to do our best to give back.
May
Our team attended the Leader Cast conference. This was a great opportunity to grow our leadership and communication skills to better serve our customers and each other.
June
The IDA did an exposé in their magazine on the National Humanitarian Award that we won. This included information about Ryan and our company values which allowed us to speech about our passion for the North Georgia/Metro Atlanta area.
August
We celebrated our fourth anniversary as Aaron Overhead Door Atlanta. It was great to reflect on how much we’d grown in only four years. Also, our podcast, Torsion Talk, launched for season one. We began the podcast to discuss the ins and outs of the garage door industry with weekly special guests.
September
We were a Finalist for the Gwinnett Chamber of Small Business Awards Culture Creator Award. Although we did not win, it was an honor to be recognized for the work we do to make our business an environment of support and communication for our employees.
December
Finalized negotiations with SOMMER Garage Door Operators. This made us the exclusive vender of their products in the North Georgia/Metro Atlanta area. SOMMER is one of the best manufacturers of openers on the market, so we are thrilled to be able to bring their products to our customers.
Hopes for 2020
2019 was such a wonderful year for our company, and we could not have done it without our awesome employees. Each one of them works tirelessly to make Aaron Overhead Doors the best garage door company in the area.
Reflecting on last year, we have high hopes for where we will go in 2020. In fact, our forward momentum has already begun. We hired a new General Manager, Josh Taylor, to manage day-to-day operations starting in February. This transition will allow Ryan, our owner, to step into a presidential role, expanding the business and our services for the community.
